Question / Help Unable to record certain games with OBS

Hi. So currently I have been having trouble recording certain games using OBS. Specifically, the one I am having the most headache with is Penumbra Overture. I launch penumbra and have even set the specific game I want to record in OBS as the same game window (Penumbra) that I have currently launched and yet all I get is a black screen. I have had this issue with a few other games but so far this is the only game that I actually care to record myself playing. As a note, I am still relatively new to OBS and its possible i coulda just done a stupid and forgot something regardless help would be appreciated.

Please post a log with your issue! Here's how...

Don't put game and display capture in the same scene. They both expect a fullscreen source and can interfere with one another.

I removed it next time probably tomorrow I'll try again hopefully it'll work but I'm not sure my skill with OBS isn't all that good I'm very "basic" with it.
